We've been involved with academic writing for over thirty years, and have personally travelled the whole route, from writing first-year assignments, to publishing papers in highly-ranked national and international journals. Our Team
Dr Rebecca Hazleden
Managing director and senior academic editor
Dr Rebecca Hazleden is a highly respected and experienced academic editor. She has two PhDs, and was a prominent academic before turning to academic editing. She has published papers in distinguished academic journals, and has supervised and examined numerous PhDs.
Over the last twenty years, she has edited countless successful academic books, journal articles, PhD theses, graduate projects and undergraduate assignments. She edits papers for journals worldwide and has worked as an editor for corporations and governments. She has taught editing to postgraduate students and is a professional member of IPEd. She frequently shouts at the television and online news sites for their poor grammar and spelling. |
Dr Malcolm Brown
Specialist in referencing and funding applications
Dr Malcolm Brown has over twenty years of experience as an international academic and academic supervisor. He has examined doctoral theses in Australia and overseas, and has been invited to present his own work in the Asia-Pacific, Europe and North America.
He has been editing academic work for twenty years, including successful multimillion-dollar research proposals and works in translation from French, Arabic, Italian and Tibetan. He has edited academic books, articles, and theses in many disciplines and has an interdisciplinary expertise that involves a detailed knowledge of the more arcane rules of different referencing systems. Malcolm was born with the urge to find things out — the more obscure, the better. |
Ana Bickel
Administrator and specialist in European languages
Ana has an exceptional talent with languages and speaks English, German, French, Italian and Russian. She is an excellent administrator and was once awarded the title of Songbird of Beenleigh for her beautiful singing voice.
